A Musical Journey
Jake Ballentine and Jeremy Adamiak both sell their music on iTunes and get gigs in small clubs, but neither of them have been able to claim music as their full time job. In Driven by the Sound the two singer-songwriters hit the road with no money, food, or gas determined to rely solely on whatever they can earn playing music along the way. Their goal was to play their way from San Diego to San Francisco. Achieving this would ultimately require sleeping on the streets, surviving off of peanut butter sandwiches, and literally singing until it hurt! While on this musical adventure they also sought out and interviewed other indie musicians and industry pros who helped to explain how and why the road to a career in music is rapidly changing.
